Emma, Founder of Green & Gold here. I have been Sugaring since 2017, and teaching since 2019, so I've had my hands in that Sugar Paste for hours upon hours and I wanted to take Sugaring from being a little-known alternative to waxing to a main stage headline act that it should be!
To do this I needed to create a fresh, bold, exciting new product range that would both be a joy to use in the salon, deliver amazing results for your clients all while looking fabulous on your shelves and the Gram!
So this range has been designed by a Sugarista for Sugaristas.
So let me give you the lowdown on the range so far!
Before we dive in, all products are cruelty free, vegan, and safe for use during pregnancy.
First up! Warm Vanilla Skin Prep - it cleanses, it's gentle and it's effective. You can use it on both the face and the body and it will remove oil, makeup, lotion, dirt efficiently and effectively with a gentle warm aroma. Dreamy.
Next we have a choice of two (but why choose, have both!) toners - the first is Rich & Rosey Skin Mist. This is an uplifting and deeply nourishing Rose water which will prep the skin with its antiseptic and antibacterial properties prior to Sugaring, and will also cool and calm redness post treatment. It smells divine to spritz around the room, and to use as a hydrating skin mist on the face too!
The other option is Lux Lavender Skin Soother - A cooling and gorgeously relaxing hydrosol that will create a calming environment as well as provide anti inflammatory properties both before and after Sugaring. And again like the Rose Mist its beautiful sprayed around your room and misted gently over your clients face.
Now for the Drying Dust! It’s talc free, in fact it's purely fine tapioca powder to keep the skin dry and primed for Sugaring. Magical!
Time to bring in the Big Pots - 1200g each! We have 3 consistencies of Paste for you to use in salon.
Let's start with the softest - we’ve called it our 24 Karat Soft Paste - because that's the softest you can get! Its fluidity will ensure you are whizzing through full legs in a jiffy, and removes vellus hair like a charm.
Middle of the range, but this will be your go-to, ride or die, stranded-on-a-desert-island-
Finally we have firm. 14 Karat Firm Paste is our strongest, most robust and will help you tackle the most course of hair in the warmest conditions when you need to bring in the big guns. This will give you the strength you need when you need it.
After Sugaring our clients’ hair away we come back to our Skin Mist and Skin Soother to calm the skin and remove any residual stickiness or powder, before using the Simply Soothing Skin Milk. The milk is lightweight, fast absorbing and made with skin-friendly plant-based oils such as sunflower, jojoba and avocado. Skin will feel soft and hydrated with no greasiness.
There’s another addition to the core range that's just around the corner, more info as soon as I can share it! And also about the retail products we are introducing!
Finally, I am thrilled, excited and honoured that the awesome Ruff Stuff brand has collaborated with us for a retail body scrub! Well, actually two! The Daily Scrub in Original Mint & Daily Scrub Citrus Blend. Ruff Stuff is a British independent brand whose products are made by hand in small batches using only the finest natural ingredients and all are registered with the Vegan Society. Your clients can use the scrub between treatments to exfoliate and moisturise the skin keeping it in tip top condition and ingrown hair free! We have two scents in the range, citrus which they describe totally accurately as being “the unmistakable smell of summer, the Amalfi coast, limoncello or good old-fashioned lemon drizzle cake. It’s an uplifting and subtle mix of citrus loveliness!” or original Mint “a fresh invigorating scent of peppermint against the subtle coconut backdrop, evoking memories of tropical holidays and mojitos”.
